Gum Therapy

GUM THERAPY if the gum problem becomes more advanced (tooth mobility ,loss of attachment,tooth migration ,gingival recession),they are adviced to take full mouth radiograph(opg) and depending upon the bone loss they have to under go

Phase 1

Non surgical gum therapy and they should follow strictly the oral hygiene instruction and medication and After 4 weeks we will check the tissue response if the response is good sometimes it wont require phase 2 therapy.

Phase 2

(FLAP SURGERY) is required if the bone defect is more .it is a minor surgical procedure done under local anaesthesia by the gum therapist(periodontist) and the tooth supporting bone defect is filled by autogenous (bone graft from the same individual) or artificial aullogenous graft.
